My friend and fellow NTU Theatre Design graduate contacted me to help her build a set for the show “This Town”. Here I built the stage that would be raised on castors, using timber, plywood sheets, and half lap joints for extra strength under the stage. Flats were attached to each other and the stage using M12 wingnuts/threaded bar, so the entire set could be assembled/disassembled without the use of any tools. Together we painted the set, using scenic art techniques such as wood graining, stencils, and using air brushes.
